    • Periodontium is a Greek word, peri means around and odont means tooth is a specialized tissue which surrounds the teeth. It is basically composed of gingiva, cementum, alveolar mucosa, periodontal ligament, and alveolar bone. The primary function of periodontium is to support all types of masticatory load and absorb it.     • Aim: This study aims to evaluate and compare the discomfort levels during debonding using different three methods and adhesive remnant index (ARI) scores compared. Materials and Methods: Sample comprised 50 female patients from single clinic of an average age of 24 years and 5 months. Three methods used were lift-off debonding instrument (LODI), straight cutter, and Howe plier. At the end of debonding in each quadrant, discomfort levels were assessed using visual analog scale (VAS). Remaining adhesive on enamel surface was studied with the help of ARI. Results: Pain scores were significantly higher for SC method. LODI group showed least discomfort. ARI showed significantly different results with three methods used. Conclusion: Patients showed least discomfort when LODI method was used.

    • Changing concepts of dentistry have the aim to manage initial caries lesions with the help of remineralizing agents in an attempt to arrest or revert the disease progression by the process of depositing calcium and phosphate ions in enamel and hence, gaining net mineral loss. Concentrating mainly on prevention and early intervention of caries, minimally invasive dentistry’s first basic principle is the remineralization of early carious lesions. The purpose of this article is to review current knowledge and technologies for tooth remineralization and their applications in clinical practices.

    • Torsion of an epiploic appendix is a little or difficult to diagnose initially is a rare surgical entity which is capable of mimicking different pathologies. Less than 200 cases of torsion of appendices epiploicae have been reported in literature. Till date, none in my knowledge has been in postpartum period. We report the first case in gynecological literature of a normal delivery being complicated by this rare entity. We present our experience in a 38-year-old pregnant female patient.
